BCPAC has been very fortunate to receive the annual donor and corporate support that it does. Each year these donor gifts are used to cover the costs associated with the high-caliber shows we bring to Bradford as well as arts in education activities and programs featuring local artists. For BCPAC to continue to grow we need to ensure a consistent, steady funding source that an endowment will provide. Annual donor support will continue to be important in keeping the quality and affordable ticket prices for which BCPAC is known. Endowment income will help BCPAC like a good savings or investment program, allowing the organization to plan in a consistent way for certain programs and for the future. The Guelfi Endowment fund is a permanent fund that is invested. We will be using this fund to hire a full time Artistic Director which will insure BCPAC's future. Mr. Nickel died Oct. 30, 2001, at the age of 66. Mr. Nickel was a prominent Bradford businessman, civic leader, and performing arts enthusiast. Frank & Joan Cahill, longtime friends, established this endowment in his memory. The purpose of this fund is to support residencies and assemblies in the Bradford area schools and BCPAC's annual children's summer theater workshop These programs are coordinated by BCPAC's Arts in Education Committee If you are interested in making a donation to this fund, click here.

One of America's most beloved actors is playing one of America's most beloved presidents.
Edward Asner is primarily known for his Emmy- winning role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spin-off series, Lou Grant. He is also acclaimed for his performance as Captain Davies in the classic mini-series Roots, the man who kidnapped Kunta Kinte and sold him into slavery, a role that earned Asner another Emmy Award. He most recently provided the voice of Carl Fredricksen in Pixar's Academy Award- winning animated film Up.

In FDR, Asner explores the life of one of America's best loved presidents and the events and decisions that helped to shape our nation. This powerful play follows the iconic president as he reflects on his years in office, from his inauguration through the Great Depression to the epic battles of World War II. Edward Asner in FDR makes for stirring historic drama from a great actor and storyteller.
